Markella is an experienced Clinical Geneticist with a particular interest in prenatal genetics. She worked with experts in the NHS and the private sector. She has 10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a variety of commercial roles (Abbott Molecular) and is also a business owner in the real estate field. Outside her professional life, Markella is a passionate rock-climber and mountaineer, which she views as an extension of her philosophy on life/work: a series of seemingly unsurmountable obstacles which can be overcome with persistence, dedication and good planning.
